Goodness its difficult to take a selfie of your hand knitted socks!
These socks may look a bit tricky but they were not too hard to knit. Really its a pleasure to try so many patterns and details and end up with a functional pairs of socks to wear.
I used a free pattern for these Seaweed Socks, designed by Wendy D Johnson. The yarn is Huntington by Valley Yarns in Mauve

I am so in awe of you for knitting a pair of socks. It must be the cosiest feeling to pull them on your feet!
Lovely Rachel. I'm very impressed
Okay, here's the irony: my name is Wendy (not the Seaweed Sock designer), and I think I've knit those socks! Or at least similar ones. I got the pattern on Ravelry, and posted about them here. http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Wendybee/nutkin
I like your color much better than mine!
Love, love, love them!!
Clever you.
I'm slowly working towards socks.
